This has been a stressful week in the office: everyday there was some major FAIL. Most of the time it was incompetence by someone (myself included as I would go in to the office at 10 pm after a day with the grandkids and actually believe I could do some good work. Yeah, right).
Randy sent a document to be translated into Serbian. The man who is supposed to vet it and send it on to Coorelation (after getting the AREA President's approval) forgot to attach the document we wanted translated to the request. So, six weeks later, we got back the translation request form in Serbian.
So, trying to decompress, I found this great Ted Talk
online: Shawn Achor: The happy secret to better work. Well worth your time and very entertaining. The bottom line is that we are not happier when we work harder; we work better and smarter when we are happy.
