Steve and Rachel Visit : FHE at Lohrberg Park Pool

Normally, Randy and I ride our bikes east on Marbachweg, over two bridges, down a set of 50 steps (there is a ramp for your bike) and along a bike trail past blackberries and pink and purple painted sheep to Lohrberg Park.  This is a park on a hill with a marvelous view of the whole city of Frankfurt.
OK.  This is more what it really looks like.  But it is spectacular in all seasons.

In addition to lots of grass and trees, a grape vineyard and soccer fields, all surrounded by kleinegartens, there is also a demonstration garden with a big apple orchard.  They make the BEST fresh and natural apfelsaft.
Lohrberg Park also has a playground and this awesome pool: jets of water at one end, deeper water at the other.
A jumped right in in her clothes.  It is so cold in Europe (compared to Qatar) that Steve and Rachel didn't bring swimsuits.
L was happy to get her feet wet.

What fun is FHE without a treat?

E finally decided to jump in : glad he did
